Is it possible to bring our own beverages on a gulet in Croatia?
Yes, it is possible.
However, you need to know what are your options about beverages on your gulet cruise in Croatia.
- You have 4 possibilities (Listed below)
Have in mind not all possibilities are possible on all the gulets. So make sure when you are booking your gulet, your gulet expert understands very well what type of group you are.
It is very important to make the right decision, according to what type of drinker you are. Explain to your sales expert what your preferences are and he will help you to choose the right gulet for you.
Possibilities are:
- Drinking from the ship’s bar
This is a good option in case you don’t drink much. The beverages are ready for you at the bar and you won’t have nothing to worry about.
The bill comes at the end of your cruise. If you desire we can send you the bar price list in advance, so you know what to expect. The prices are reasonable or even cheaper than outside of the gulet. So if you can control your drinking, this is a perfect option for you.
- Corkage Fee
In case you do drink a lot and want to be sure the beverages you want are on your gulet, the corkage fee is what we suggest you option.
You bring as much beverages on board as you want and drink as much as you can. If you want, we can buy the drinks for you and make them delivered on board.
You pay the supermarket prices and they are waiting for you on your gulet.
The amount of corkage fee depends on what gulet you are and differs from gulet to gulet. From 400€ to 1000€.
Therefore if you like to have foreign drinks and are harder to get by, you are a “thirsty traveller” and have a “fancy“ taste choose a corkage fee package.
- All Inclusive beverage package
If you plan to drink a lot on your cruise and you are OK with domestic drinks, All inclusive choice is what you need.
Beer, wine and local spirits will be there apart from soft drinks of course. So this is a really good option in case you drink a lot and don’t ask for specific foreign drinks.
- A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance)
Advanced Provisioning Allowance depends on the gulet. Not all gulets provide this option.
It means that you pay a certain amount of money in advance and from this amount the captain pays everything needed extra. If you want to spend more on water toys it will go for this, on beverages it will go for that.
The amount of A.P.A depends on what gulet you are. On some Gulet A.P.A is 7.000€, some others 25% of the charter fee.
It is very important that you know what type of a group you are.
We don’t want anyone to be thirsty on board. So advise with our sales expert and choose the right option. They will point you on a gulet that will suit your needs and you will be most comfortable with.
Be our happy customer and say LIFE IS GOOD!
