If you decide to come to the port by car, it is important to know some parking issues that will occur.

You have to understand that especially in high season the traffic in those touristic places as Split, Dubrovnik, Trogir….is very chaotic.

Get prepared. The streets are narrow and parking is hard to find. So check the place where to leave your car on time. Not all places offer daily parking or are far from your Marina.

You can find parking also out of the center, but you risk vandalism or to be removed by the police.

You do want your car to be in safe and secure parking. And of course, still there when you finish your Croatia cruise.

Possibilities for parking are:

• Private garages,
• Private parking lots.

Most marinas also offer to park. But keep in mind that usually prices there are a bit higher. The truth is they are the most expensive option, but also the most convenient and safe.

A private garage is something that we always suggest. They are more economic and very safe as well. They are close to the marina and under surveillance. Many of them also offer the shuttle to the marina. The prices are around 10€ per day.

Also, private parking lots are a possibility. Usually a bit further, but much more economic.

If you rent-a-car, most of the time they also offer the possibility to leave the car in a marina. It is also a good option and worth considering.
