Cell coverage in Turkey is very good.

- Vodaphone has the second largest cell phone customer number. But has the least cell phone coverage in Turkey. It covers mainly big cities and towns that have at least 10.000 population.
- Türk telekom has the least cell phone customer users, but are covering with their network large portions of land and sea. So it is usable for tourists who are going sailing and cruising.
If you are looking for cell phone coverage, in general, you won’t have problems finding a network. They have covered all the main sailing and cruising routes in the Turkish sea.
The only bad coverage is if you will cruise far from coastline to the open seas. But don’t worry, gulet cruising is like island hopping. There will always be another island with cell coverage.
