Which packages of food can we choose from in Turkey?
In Turkey you can choose between the STANDARD or DELUXE food menu.
Our Turkey destination manager is responsible that on all gulets the food is high quality and innovative as can be. To bring you closer to the Turkish cuisine and to introduce you to their specialties.
It depends also on the gulet you are cruising. Some are more deluxe and some are more standard.
STANDARD MENU
- Traditional breakfast (cheese, cucumber, tomato, olives, eggs, jam, honey),
- Lunch (beef, lamb, chicken, fish; everything based on local spices and accompanied with rice, noodles and salad on the side),
- Dinner (different soups, local specialties, salads, pastries…).
If there is a high fishing season, crew or local fisherman can supply fresh fish and prepare it for you on the spot.
DELUXE MENU
Already the name tells you, you will get a special treatment.
For breakfast there will be caviar and champagne waiting for you. Menus are tailored just for you. During the day you are served with Mediterranen food including much more seafood with fresh vegetables, seasonal fruit pastries and traditional desserts. More choices of starters, salads, desserts and fruits.
Apart from those menus we can prepare you also:
- Vegetarians or vegan menu
- Kosher or Halal menu
Possibility is also an economy low cost budget menu, but we don’t really advertise it. It is more poore in quantity as in quality.
Food on gulet is really some experience. Don’t waste it. Culinary experience on the gulet is one of the most important parts of your cruise.
We always send you your menu in advance, taking in consideration all your comments and preferences. If there are any allergies, strong likes or dislikes, everything is noticed and delivered to your gulets chef.
Our chefs are really masters above everything. They pay special attention in selecting the perfect ingredients, and to prepare the food attractive to the eye and to taste.
Variety of food is very important to us and frozen, fast food is non-acceptable.
No matter what package you choose the alcoholic drinks are extra.
Except the soft non alcoholic beverages, all the alcoholic beverages need to be ordered before your cruise.
Just keep in mind that the crew is allowed to use your non-alcoholic drinks as well. Take care of them as well.
