Do we need to have all the same meal menus on our gulet cruise?
Yes and no.
In Turkey you can choose between the STANDARD menu or DELUXE menu.
- Standard menu
Standard menu offers traditional turkish breakfast (cheeses, cucumber, olives, jam, honey…), lunch and dinner (different types of meat, rice, noodles, salads, different fruits and vegetables…)
- Deluxe menu
Each morning, on your breakfast table, will be waiting for you champagne and caviar. There are more varieties of different seafood, more fresh vegetables and fruits. More different pastries and desserts.
The whole group must choose one type of food package and the chef will try to customize it accordingly to your preferences as much as possible.
Unfortunately the kitchens on gulets are very small. The chefs are really trying to satisfy all tastes and wishes. But even if we bring you 3 of them, there would be no space to prepare everything.
There must be some kind of a general agreement what type of food would you like to have on your gulet. Be certain he will do many varieties on this and believe us you will not stay indifferent.
Of course he will give special attention to the kids and prepare the kid menu in case they don’t like scamps or fish.
But, he won’t be able to prepare 3 different sets of appetizers or 4 for different main dishes and 6 different supper. Because of the logistic reason only.
He will take into consideration if any vegetarians or vegans are among your group and of course allergies. They are taken into very serious consideration, where no mistakes are allowed.
If you would like to have Halal or Kosher food on board, is also not a problem. Just inform us in advance and we will take care of it. Some ingredients are not so easy to get and that’s why we need to know this, at the right time.
Dining on a gulet is one really nice experience and no need to spoil it with a wrong choice of food.
