Which food packages can we choose from in Greece?
Dining on a gulet is a unique experience and if you add Greece and greek food as your background, you reach the top. In Greece you can choose between:
- HB (half board; breakfast, lunch OR dinner) or
- FB (full board; breakfast, lunch, AND dinner).
There is always an option of an extra dinner, which we highly recommend.
Having dinner on your gulet is something not to miss. Our chefs always try to bring you closer to greek food and introduce you with greek specialties.
Usually our clients choose the Half-Board option and also gulet captains prefer this.
The food in Greece is really exceptional. It would be a shame to limit yourself only to food on your gulet.
Although our chefs are master chefs, the food in the local tavernas and restaurants are something to experience.
During hot summer days I would suggest Half-Board with the option of breakfast and dinner. You won’t be in a mood to search for restaurants while it is 40 or more degrees.
While in early or late summer, when water activities are not so popular, you can easily look for tavernas, sit under the olive trees and enjoy the meal.
The food is always the nicest part when finalizing your cruise.
8 weeks before your departure we send you Gulet Expert Finalizing LAB, where we ask you all about your food preferences.
We ask you about your:
- Likes and dislikes,
- Allergies,
- What type of snacks and desserts you prefer,
- If any vegetarians or vegans are among your group,
- if you want Halal or Kosher food.
As long as it is announced in advance there is no problem for our top customer support team.
EXTRA CHARGE
Either you choose Half-Board or Full-Board, food expenses are always an extra charge. The height depends on a gulet.
It can be:
- from 245€ (Ece Arina) to 420€ (Lady Freya) per person per week for HB or
- 350€ (Ece Arina) to 525€ (Lady Freya) per person per week for FB
Most of the gulets in Greece offer A.P.A. (Advance Payment Allowance).
It is in a way the most comfortable way. It is paid in addition to the charter fee. The high depends on the gulet. It can be from 7.000€ up to 30% of the charter fee. It covers all the costs that are not included in the charter fee.
What exactly covers need to be checked with your sales experts.
You pay in advance and cover among the other extras also all food expenses. If costs are more, you pay additional onboard, if the amount is not all spent, you get the rest back at the end of your cruise.
