What beverage packages can we choose from on Croatian gulets?
While you are cruising on your gulet in the Adriatic sea I’m sure you don’t want any of you to be thirsty. So choosing the right beverage package is a very important decision.
I’m sure you can imagine yourself sitting on the deck and drinking your favorite cocktail.
You like more fancy drinks or do you like to try local beverages? Find the right package according to your group.
While you are completing your Finalizing Lab, you will also be asked about beverage preferences. So in case, you don’t know what to decide, our customer support will be more than happy to help.
Possibilities in Croatia are:
- ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE
An All-Inclusive package is an option in case you don’t ask for fancy drinks and don’t have a very selected taste.
The all-inclusive package includes local alcoholic beverages and also local soft drinks. Meaning local beer, wine, spirits, and also juices, etc. In case you are not a “heavy drinker” and you are okay with local drinks, choose the All-inclusive package.
The Croatian wines are worldwide recognizable, beers are easy to drink, and also local spirit (rakija) is something you will remember.
So if you are okay with this, an All-Inclusive package can’t be a mistake.
- DRINKS FROM THE BAR
Option drinking from the bar is okay in case you and your group don’t drink a lot or not at all.
You order your drinks at the bar and pay at the end of your gulet cruise. As much as you drink, so much you pay.
At the end of your day, you can have an overview and you control your spendings on drinks. Imagine it, like when you go out and have fun with your friends at your hometown bar.
The prices are about the same or even a bit lower. If you are interested in what the prices are on your gulet, we can send you the bar price list in advance, so you know what to expect.
- CORKAGE FEE
Corkage fee is an excellent option in case you drink a lot or you want to be sure you have your favorite beverages onboard.
In case you have a more selected taste and don’t want to risk it with the local drinks, you can bring your own selection of beverages on your gulet. You can bring as much as you want and drink as much as you please.
The amount of Corkage fee depends on which gulet you booked. It can be from 400€ to 1000€.
We can also send you a beverage price list, where you mark how many and what drinks you want onboard. We buy them in local supermarkets and organize the delivery to your gulet. So you don’t have to deal with the organization. It will be on us.
You cover the invoice before you start your cruise.
- A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance)
A.P.A. is an option that not all gulets offer. So if you like it, make sure you book the right gulet.
It is an option where you pay a certain amount of money in advance and then together with the captain decide where the money will be spent. If you want to spend it on selected drinks or food, or water toys or private marinas….it’s up to you.
The height of A.P.A differs from gulet to gulet. It can be from 7.000€ to 30% of the charter fee. It is a very convenient option.
In the preference list, you describe what drinks you prefer, the captain buys them for you and shows you all the invoices. The money is than deducted from the A.P.A. amount.
In case that, at the end of your cruise the money is still left in the A.P.A. amount, you will get your money back. But if you exceed the amount, you just add some more and continue enjoying your cruise.
Which choice you decide to take, is in the end up to you.
