What Beverage packages can we choose from on an Italy and Montenegro gulet?
Italy and Montenegro are very similar in the organization of your beverages packages. They both offer similar options.
It is really more dependent on your chosen gulet. Here things differ more. Some offer drinks from the bar, some have an All-inclusive package and some Corkage fee. So it really depends on the gulet.
MONTENEGRO
Here most of the gulets offer 3 options:
- Corkage fee,
- All-inclusive drinks package,
- All-inclusive non-alcoholic package.
- Corkage fee
For customers who would like to bring their own beverages and are heavy drinkers this a perfect option.
They can have foreign drinks and are not bound to any limitation. They only pay the Corkage fee to the captain and the crew will serve them their own drinks all the time of their gulet cruise.
- All-inclusive drinks package
All-inclusive drinks package includes domestic non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, water, carbonated drinks (soda), juices, wine, and beer.
- All-inclusive non-alcoholic package
This includes domestic non-alcoholic drinks, water, carbonated drinks (soda), and juices.
- Some gulets that are in a more pricey range have an A.P.A. system (Advanced Provisional Allowance):
A.P.A. is an advance payment that covers in addition to charter price all the extra cost of your cruise.
It mostly covers port taxes, fuel, beverages, food, etc. (so almost all the extra expenses that are not included in the charter price). If the A.P.A. is not entirely used it is returned to the customer at the end of the gulet cruise. In the opposite case the extra costs that were made are gonna be charged in addition to the already expended amount.
ITALY
In Italy the beverage options are the same as in Montenegro.
The difference between them is only that you will find more gulets that offer only “Drinks from the bar” option. Everything else is the same and can be applied as written in Montenegro.
