Do we need to determine the time of our meals on our gulet cruise?
Through your booking and finalizing your cruise, we are trying to be flexible as much as we can.
We always go towards you and help you to make your gulet cruise as great as possible.
The timetable on your vacation should be tailored as you want. But please understand, there are some things that need to be considered.
THINGS TO BE CONSIDERED
The crew, to be ready and prepared for smooth and easy cruising, needs your help as well.
It is very hard for them, for example, to serve breakfast from 6 in the morning till 1 in the afternoon. So we all agree that there should be some frame to hold on.
It is hard to serve one by one and at the same time to maneuver the gulet, prepare for the route, check if everything is as it should be.
Of course, we do our best to make a schedule the way it suits you the most.
It is good if you clarify what time you would like to have your food served, at the beginning of your cruise.
But then we all have to stick to this.
Usually, the hours are:
- Breakfast; between 08:00 – 10:00
- Lunch; 12:00 – 14:00
- Dinner; after 20:00
- There is also tea or coffee time around 17:00, as you wish.
Of course, if you want it different, just say it to the captain and you can consider it done.
DINING DURING YOUR CRUISE
While you are cruising, serving your meal looks like this:
- If you plan more cruising on that day, the captain will start your gulet early in the morning. The breakfast will be served while cruising and when you wake up.
- If there is not so much cruising on that day, your gulet is anchored while you have your breakfast. And after your morning swim and breakfast, the captain starts the engine.
- Lunch is ALMOST always 100% served in some exotic bay, while your gulet is anchored.
- Dinner is ALWAYS served while you are anchored and the day slows down.
Of course, you have to take into consideration the weather. It is something that we can not predict and may change suddenly.
Also if you have any specific plans, have planned some activities or anything else, everything is changeable. The captain will ask you every day what you would like to look at the next day.
Sometimes people like to be early in the city, have more time to explore, and late dinner on the gulet. And sometimes you will like to stay in the bay and simply enjoy the quietness and peace.
As long as everything is communicated according to reasonable frames, everything is possible.
