Which route would you suggest in Central Dalmatia?
Firstly, where is Central Dalmatia?
In general Central Dalmatia spreads around the city of Split, which is also the capital of all Dalmatian regions.
It includes the islands of Brač, Hvar, Vis, Šolta, and also little islands like Biševo (where you can find the famous blue cave), Drvenik Veli, and Drvenik Mali, etc. It is the most diverse and picturesque part of Dalmatia with three World Unesco Heritage Sites:
- Diocletian’s Palace in Split,
- The medieval town of Trogir,
- Stari grad plain on Hvar Island.
Central Dalmatia is one of our most popular starting points which includes the ports of Split and also the famous port of Trogir.
Planning a tailored route for your gulet cruise that will include full of diverse activities and sightseeing places is very easy for us. The possibilities to have a picturesque cruise are endless.
We can accommodate almost any wish.
So we advise our customers who really want a full Croatian gulet cruise experience with island hopping, to start in the port of Split or Trogir.
The variety of different gulets here is also bigger than in any other area in Dalmatia.
You have 2 possibilities:
- One way cruise
- Round trip cruise
- ONE WAY CRUISE – Trogir to Dubrovnik
For a one way cruise we would suggest you to start at the port of Trogir (port is smaller than Split and also more picturesque) and end your cruise in the city of Dubrovnik.
In between you will have a possibility for stopovers on islands of Brač, Šolta, Hvar, Vis, Korčula and Mljet. These islands are all a must do, but we will tailor your route according to your preference list. Every island is good for something else. Some have Natural parks, some are good for partying.
