If we go partying and are on the anchor are there water taxis to rent?
It depends on where you’re anchoring.
Some islands are big party places and some are more for laying back and enjoying the sun. The most famous party island is, of course, Hvar and there you will have the option to use a water taxi. But for other islands, it is best to ask your concierge when planning your route so he can give you advice where there is a possibility.
PARTYING ON HVAR ISLAND
The most famous party place is of course Hvar town on Hvar island. The nightlife is bustling and you have a lot of nightclubs and bars all over town. They are open till 2 AM at the night. After that, the majority of people go to beach bars and the famous party club on the beach called Carpe Diem beach. You can party there till 6 AM.
Usually, everybody takes water taxis to get to the Carpe Diem beach club. In Hvar town, they are everywhere and it is not a problem to find one.
We suggest in the Hvar area go on anchor at Paklinski otoci opposite the Hvar town.
Port of Hvar is very expensive and you won’t find any peace to sleep. So the better option is to go on anchor and use the tender boat to get to Hvar town. In this way you will have a rest through the night and also still can go partying to Hvar.
And your crew will gladly take you with the tender boat to Hvar.
When you wanna get back to your gulet you can just take the water taxi. They operate all night.

For other places that you would like to party we would suggest you go to the port. It is easier because water taxis are hard to find at the night. And the crew is not available overnight. They will drive you in the evening but are sleeping at night time.
