Do we need to pay in advance or on spot for our beverages in Turkey?
All extra beverages on your gulet need to be paid on the spot.
Local non-alcoholic beverages are included in your food package, while imported and alcoholic beverages need to be paid on the spot.
In Turkey, the beverages are organized in such a way that you can bring as much as you want and whatever drinks you want on your cruise.
CREW IS IMPORTANT
The gulet owners have nothing to do with your drinks, but keep in mind the crew is part of your team.
So they are allowed to use your drinks as well. Of course we are talking exclusively about non-alcoholic beverages.
8 weeks before your cruise, we will send you an invitation to the Finalizing Lab inquiry.It is a moment, where we start organizing your cruise and are going into your holiday details.
Having a perfect drink, while you are sitting on your gulet anchored in a bay, is an important detail. Watching the bay with your favourite cocktail and full moon above, it is a part of everyone’s cruising dream.
In this questionnaire we ask you about your beverage preferences. Since you are not going to carry drinks for the whole week with you, we send you the order and you mark what drinks you would like to have.
The prices of drinks are based on local supermarket prices or even cheaper. After that, we make sure that all your beverages are delivered on board, waiting for you.
As soon as you arrive on your gulet, the check-in procedure begins. You meet:
- Smiling crew waiting for you onboard,
- A setup table with your welcome drink,
- A clean and ready gulet just for you.
Before you depart from port, final paperwork and payments need to be done. And at this time you also pay the bill for your pre-ordered beverages.

Advance Provisional Allowance is a way that not all the gulets offer. It means that you pay a certain amount of money in advance.
This is the money that the captain handles with, to cover all your extras. Here goes for your beverages, your water sport activities or for taxes in case you stay in private marinas. Taxes for other ports are included in your charter fee and no need to pay extra. The amount of A.P.A. depends on the gulet, it can be from 7.000€ to 25% of your charter fee.
In case you like A.P.A., please speak with your sales expert and he will advise you to book the right gulet. Whatever you choose, don’t keep the crew thirsty.
